Several victims were buried along the Saddleworth Moor near Greater Manchester, England, thus the given title. These victims were innocent children who had been selectively chosen by partner pertertrators. These murders are still some of the most reviled crimes in Britain, even decades after they happened. As a result, the pair became two of the most hated individuals in British criminal history.
